간 돌 (간석기/마제석기 - a chipped stone tool )

전곡리선사유적지는 대표적인 국내 구석기 유적지로 한탄강·임진강 줄기를 따라 국내에서 가장 크고 넓은 지역에 걸쳐 있다.
전곡리 유적지는 1978년 한탄강에 놀러왔던 미국병사 그렉 보웬이 우연히 4점의 석기를 발견하여 그 모습을 드러냈으며
1978년에서 2001년까지 11차에 걸쳐 4,600여 점의 유물이 발굴되었고, 그 결과 주먹도끼, 사냥돌, 주먹찌르개, 긁개, 홍날,
찌르개 등 다양한 종류의 석기를 발견하였다.

이 유적지의 발견으로 우리나라 구석기 문화가 기원전 2십만 년이 넘는 전기구석기 말기의 것임이 밝혀졌다.
당시 학계에서는 ‘유럽·아프리카와는 달리 저급한 동아시아에는 주먹도끼 문화가 없다’는 모비우스(Movius) 교수의 학설이 통했다.
보웬이 발견한 주먹도끼는 세계 고고학계를 발칵 뒤집어 놓은 확실한 ‘증거물’이었다.
이 노래는 우리 조상들의 이야기를 우리 고유의 장단과 현대적인 리듬으로 되살려 만들어낸 노래입니다.

Jeon-gok-lee Prehistory Site
Is a well-known Paleolithic site located alongside Han-Tan River and Lim-Jin River. This largest historic site was discovered in 1978
by an American soldier Greg Bowen, who accidentally found four pieces of stone tools near Han-Tan River. Ever since then to 2001,
about 4600 pieces of stone tools were found over 11 different discoveries. As a result, varies Paleolitic core tools such as hand axes were found.

The discovery of Paleolithic site in Korea has proved that the Paleolithic stools were used in Korea during the end of
Lower Paleolithic Era around 20,0000 BC.

The academic experts believed in Movius’s theory that the East Asians used chipping tool unlike the Acheulean tool users of Europe,
African and West Asians until Bowen’s discovery of hand axe in Korea that proved the theory to be invalid.

This song is about the story of our ancestors, and is made of Korean traditional rhythm mixed with modern beat.

뚜버기들의 전래동요

어느 민족이나 마찬가지겠지만 우리 민족 또한 오래전부터 내려오는 민속음악이 있습니다.
그 중에서도 민요는 일반적으로는 예술음악과 대립되는 말이지만, 반면 예술음악의 모체가 되기도 합니다.
대개 농업과 어업 등에 종사하는 사람들이 집단으로 제례나 노동을 할 때 부르기 시작한 노래로서,
특정한 창작자가 없이 자연적으로 발생하여 민중의 생활 감정을 소박하게 반영하고,
때로는 국민성 ·민족성을 나타내기도 합니다.

또한 우리의 아이들에게는 옛날 이야기처럼 오래 전부터 '입에서 입으로 전해 내려온 아이들 노래'가 있습니다.
아이들의 삶 속에서, 아이들의 놀이와 함께 있어 온 이 노래들을 전래동요 또른 구전동요라고 합니다.
그 노래들에는 우리 아이들이 삶이 들어있습니다. 우리 아이들의 마음과 생각과 꿈, 웃음과 눈물이 배어 있습니다.
이제는 거의 모든 마을이 도시화로 인해 지금까지 고스란히 우리의 정성에 배어 있는
참으로 넉넉하고 재미있고 아름다운 우리 아이들의 말과 노래를 엮어서 구성한 공연입니다.

As with any other ethnic group, Korea also has traditional folk songs.
Min-Yo, among the others, generally represent the opposite of artistic music, but it is also the origin of all.
Min-yo originated from groups of workers, who were singing while they worked in the field, out in the ocean, etc.
Similar to the music culture of Blacks during slavery, these songs do not have particular creator nor initiator.
The songs express the feelings of life as a worker, and they also display the nationality/ethnicity.

In the other hand, there are songs that has been sung by children. Jeon-lae-dong-yo, orally narrated children’s song, is sung
within the lives of the playful children, and is about the lives of the children themselves. It shows their feelings, thoughts,
and dreams, also their smiles and tears.
